This collaboration marks a rare convergence of tattoo artistry and combat performance. In partnership with renowned Indonesian tattoo artist Nadcil, Second Skin reimagines Peranakan Batik as a functional artefact - shifting cultural expression from skin to strike, from tradition to motion.
Guardian motifs, coastal batik waves, and symbolic detailing are composed not as ornamentation, but as narrative. Each element speaks of protection, rhythm, and continuity, preserving cultural memory while asserting a distinctly modern visual identity. These gloves are not merely worn - they are represented.
Executed on microfibre leather using precision UV printing, the artwork retains its depth, texture, and clarity while grounding the glove in functional performance. Beyond its visual language, the glove is engineered to perform with purpose.
